Installer Network, Powered by HVACDirect.com provides an online directory intended to help users locate independent HVAC installers and contractors (“Installers”). We may also provide tools that allow Installers to create profiles and listings and allow customers to submit inquiries.
Important: Installers listed on the Site are independent third parties. We do not employ, supervise, direct, or control Installers.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent you meet this requirement.
3) Directory Disclaimer – We Are Not Responsible for Installer Outcomes
The Site is provided as an informational and referral resource only.
- We do not guarantee an Installer’s availability, pricing, licensing, insurance status, qualifications, safety practices, performance, or outcomes.
- We are not responsible for any work performed by Installers, including but not limited to: installation quality, delays, damages, code compliance, permitting, warranties, disputes, injuries, property damage, or any other outcome resulting from your engagement with an Installer.
- Any agreement you enter into with an Installer is solely between you and the Installer.
- You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence, including verifying licensing, insurance, references, permits, and suitability for your project.
If you have a dispute with an Installer, you agree to address it directly with the Installer.

Content on the Site (including any general guidance) is for informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, safety, or professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals for advice tailored to your situation.
5) User Accounts (If Applicable)
If you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Notify us promptly of unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6) Listings and Installer Content
If you are an Installer who submits a listing or other content, you represent and warrant that:
- Your information is accurate and not misleading
- You have the legal right to offer the services described
- You comply with all applicable laws, licensing rules, and regulations
- Your content does not infringe third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, etc.)
We may edit, refuse, remove, or disable listings or content at any time, with or without notice, for any reason (including quality control, suspected fraud, policy violations, or legal compliance). We do not guarantee that a listing will be published or remain published.
7) Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation
- Scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Site without permission
- Upload malware, spam, or abusive content
- Interfere with Site security or operations
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or data
- Use the Site to harass, threaten, or defame any person or business

10) Reviews, Feedback, and Submissions (If Enabled)
If you submit reviews, comments, photos, or other content (“User Content”), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Site.
You agree not to submit content that is false, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or otherwise unlawful. We may remove User Content at our discretion.

- Installer Network, Powered by HVACDirect.com AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH ANY INSTALLER.
IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) TO USE THE SITE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so these may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Installer Network, Powered by HVACDirect.com and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

- Your interaction with any Installer
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Any content you submit
14) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms or if we choose to discontinue the Site. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and intellectual property).
15) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Effective Date” will reflect the latest version. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16) Governing Law; Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where the Site operator is headquartered, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
