Wolff Comfort Systems improperly installed two MRCOOL Universal 2nd Gen heat pump systems, including confusing the 2.5-ton and 3-ton units, leaving wiring exposed, reusing 24-year-old parts, and failing to get the system working without repeated service visits and manufacturer support. They sought additional payment beyond the quoted amount, even though Wolff Comfort Systems had allegedly promised not to exceed the quoted installation price. Also, the charges were unauthorized and tied to the company’s own installation errors. I reported this business to the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, along with documentation, invoices, and photographs supporting the concerns.
